I've always hated taking painkillers so this study is useful confirmation that peppermint applied topically is more effective at relieving headaches than tablets.

Patients flourish with alternative meds

A senior cardiovascular surgeon has done a study of the effects of some complementary therapies on heart operation patiens and the result are very positive.

We can only hope that other medical practitioners start to look at complementary therapies with an open mind going forward.

I might add to this that I have treated many people who have whiplash from causes other than a car crash, I think that often people don't recognise the symptoms as being whiplash as they assume that the only way this happens in in a car accident.
